Making 3

Mrs Pengelly has been making 3 with her daughters today. 

We counted the farm animals and did a dot for each animal one, two, three

We then practiced writing it. 

We then tried to write the number in coloured rice. To colour the rice I put the dry rice in a sandwich bag with a 2/3 drops of food colouring. I then rubbed the bag till the rice was covered. Green Food colouring would make it grass like (I didn’t have have green food colouring so have used blue and red). My daughter then used her finger to make the number 3 in the rice. 

We then went on a 3 hunt To find 3 of the same things
