Wear it Wild Day
The children in Nursery came dressed as many different animals today, and donated money to the WORLDWIDE FUND FOR NATURE, WWF.
We learnt that the weather in changing in many places, some places are too dry, some too wet and in some places the ice is melting. The world is getting warmer and this is not good for plants, animals or people. We talked about things we can do to help.
Why not try some of these this week?
- Walk, instead of using the car, for short journeys
- Turn off the lights or TV when not in the room
- Turn off taps when brushing our teeth, try not to waste water
- Using both sides of the paper when drawing
- Use only one paper towel when drying hands
