Snow fun in Nursery 2022

We had great fun in Nursery this week enjoying the snow.  We wrapped up to keep warm and dry, in waterproof trousers, boots, coats, hats and gloves.  Outside we explored the snow and ice.  We followed some rule to keep us safe: Walking so we do not slip, tell an adult when we feel cold and are ready to go inside, not throwing the snow because some people do not like it. 

We built snowmen and swept, dug and scooped snow into buckets and containers.  We talked about where snow comes from and read a book called "The Snowy Day" by Anna Milbourne and Elena Temporin.

We even tried building snowmen inside!! What do you think happened to the snowmen we left inside the classroom?
