Simple out door play

It’s very warm and sunny at the moment.
Here are some ideas for play outside or indoors.

Freeze a plastic toy in ice and the child has to free the toy. The children can use brushes and water to free the toy. Or maybe salt. Here we have frozen coins to free but we have also frozen farm animals to free or Lego people and bricks

Floating and sinking. While is hot water is good to play with water.
Make a boat with junk modelling can you make it float?

Send a hug. We draw around my daughter on a large piece of paper and then she coloured it in. We sent this to an aunty she misses.

Cutting skills. Draw some lines for your child to cut along.

Colour hunt. This can be done indoors or out. How many shades of a colour can you find.

Boxes are brilliant. Put a few windows in and let the imagination go. I came my daughter some pencils and they decorated the inside. It was also a great shady den outside.

Make a den outside. It’s good to have a shady spot outside.

Decorating the inside of the box

Have a bowl of water and a brush outside. Your child can draw and make pattens on the floor.
