This term we have had fun in our PE lessons using benches and other equipment for balancing and climbing.
We explored climbing up and along the sloped benches and then jumping off to land safely.
We worked in small groups and took turns on the different pieces of equipment.
We remembered to say Gymnast Ready and Gymnast Finished to start and end our turns.
We really enjoyed celebrating Number Day in Nursery today!
Like the rest of the school we dressed up as a variety of number themed characters!
We played number games, made number books, hats and necklaces, had a costume parade and one class even had a 'teacher-swap'
Children have some ideas for number games to take home as homework this week.

Lunar New Year
We had fun this week learning about the celebration of Lunar New Year. We learnt how children around the world celebrate this festival. We learnt that children will help clean the house, decorate the house with decorations, wear new clothes, cook and eat special foods with family, receive red envelopes of money and might even watch a new year parade with a lion or dragon dance. We dressed up in special clothes and we even had our own lion parade.
