Dear Zoo
Children have worked hard over the past few weeks learning all about animals. We have learnt about wild animals and pets.
We enjoyed reading the story of Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.
We can now retell the story using the book and a story map.
Then we worked really hard to make our own versions of the story. Each child made their own book which they have been using to retell their own story. We can't wait for parents to see these books when they come to the parent's consultation evening in the next few weeks.

Dear Zoo Written by Chater Nursery
I wrote to the zoo to send me a pet.
They sent me a lobster. He was too scary, so scary! I sent him back.
So they sent me a squid. He was too scary. I sent him back.
So they sent me an elephant. He was too big! I sent him back.
