PE in Nursery

We have been getting very active in Nursery and children have enjoyed moving in many different ways.  To make it extra fun we have been moving like lots of different animals, for example, stomping like elephants, prowling like lions and jumping like a frog.  Children enjoy thinking of new animals to move like.  We even explored walking backwards!  We are learning to look around and move into the spaces.

We also play a fun game when we have move like rabbits and then get into the fox hole (hoop) before the fox comes!

Coronation Celebrations in Nursery

 

We have enjoyed learning about the upcoming Coronation this week!  Children have listened to a story about Peppa Pig celebrating the Coronation and learnt about what will happen at the King's Coronation on Saturday.  We have decorated the classrooms and had a party where we made crowns and ribbon sticks. 

Did you know, the crown that the King will be wearing at his Coronation has 444 jewels on it!

Wear it Wild Day in Nursery

 We dressed up as wild animals for the WWF Wear it Wild day last week.  We enjoyed seeing each others costumes in school.  It was lovely to see how imaginative people had been when making or putting together costumes.  Thanks to all who donated to the WWF.
