Now is a good time to plant

If you have some toilet rolls and compost you could start to grow some plants.

Here we have tried to plant some sweet peas.

Fill the room with soil or compost poke a hole using a pencil or pen. Drop the seed in and cover.  Water your plants and watch what happens. Let us know how you do

What do plants need to survive?
What did you plant?

Try and make a rainbow

Children all over the country are making rainbows to put in their windows🌈.
Try and make a rainbow for your front window. Think about the colours and making an arched shape.

If you walk for your daily exercise see if you can count the rainbows.
How many will you find?

Here is one Mrs Pengelly’s daughter did age 4.
Email any rainbows you make to  blackbird@chaterinfants.herts.sch.uk and we can add your pictures to the blog to share with our Chater friends. If you prefer work not to be published please say in your email. But we would love to see your home learning.

Enjoy 🌈
