Elf Run.....

Today Nursery took part in an Elf Run to raise money for the Watford Peace Hospice. We wore elf hats and lots of fun running around outside. Thank you to all the parents who donated and thank you children for taking part.

Please come to  the Frost Fair on Friday at 1.45pm Nursery have made some Christmas Photo Frames - each child has a special Christmas photo in a frame for you to buy!!

This week in Nursery the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue team came to talk to the  Nursery children. A fire engine came into our playground.

This week Nursery heard the story of Rama and Sita, they made a diva lamp from salt dough and heard how people celebrate Diwali.

Monday 17th June- Nursery took part in some relay races. We had  a race balancing a bean bag on a bat then balancing a bean bag on our head. We had a shopping basket race and our favourite was the water race. We had to run holding a cup of water and transfer water into a large container. The team
with the most water at the end won that race.
We had lots of fun.

On Tuesday mornings Nursery children have been learning in the outdoor environment with Forest school sessions.

We had a party to celebrate Eid. Thank you to the mums who came and put some henna patterns on our hands.

Nursery had 6 duckling eggs in an incubator and watched as they hatched out. They held the ducklings and watched  them swimming and splashing, eating, drinking and sleeping. The ducklings went back to the farm today.
